I am writing this review after one month of operation and getting recovered from GERD done by Laparoscopic Fundoplication of my mother by Dr. Bapat Sir at Jahangir Hospital Pune. It will be helpful to take decision for your love beings. My mother age is 67 years. She is patient of having 40 years diabetes and treating with insulin from 1993, Angioplasty done in 2013, Asthma from 2002 . Suffering from chronic cough persistently. From last one year along with cough whatever she eat she vomits. Wonderful experience with the Doctor. All procedures upto admission in hospital was explained and guided by the doctor. Surgery went smoothly and the release also was smooth from the hospital. The hospital took lot of time to clear the insurance as mine was corporate insurance. Otherwise a very nice experience.

I had my ultrasound done and there was 9.5mm stone in Gall bladder. We decided to get the surgery done and consulted Dr Girish Bapat sir. We consulted at Jehangir Hospital OPD. Sir provided us info on whole procedure. Sugery was done on 30th Sep 2023. When we consulted him he was going out of station but he made sure to arrange and start procedures for operation and surgery was done as soon as possible once he returned. I was diagnosed as a hernia . I approached to Dr. Girish Bapat at his clinic on Law collage road . Doctor had checked me in details and explained me the procedure of hernia repairs . I can really tell that in case of my husband he was for me like a savior whome GOD has send. Before meeting sir on 3rd Oct'23 in a span of one and a half month I have got my husband hospitalized thrice where we came to know he was suffering from cholelithiasis and having three stones in which one was 18mm. In all the three times doctors have delayed the surgery for some or other reason. He was recommended to me by one of my friends. The day we met he checked all the reports and seeing the condition suggested for gallbladder removal and also operation of hernia. If it was not done then the situation would have worsen as already gallbladder was badly infected. In one week my husband was operated and discharged and currently after post discharge follow up doctor has asked him to live normal life with few precautions.
